Our Story

🦞From the Coast of Maine to the Shores of California

Growing up on the coast of Maine, the air was fresh, the ocean was always near, and no summer was complete without a lobster roll in hand. Some of my favorite childhood memories are of long days spent with my parents and grandparents: swimming in the cold Atlantic, walking along the rocky beaches of Reid State Park, and ending the day with that simple, buttery, warm New England classic — the lobster roll.

When my family and I moved to Southern California, I brought those memories with me. But what I couldn’t bring was the flavor. I searched everywhere for something that even came close to what I grew up with — that authentic, no-nonsense Maine lobster roll. But here in SoCal, it's almost impossible to find. That’s when we knew we had to reintroduce the Maine Lobster Roll to Southern California...


The Lobsta Monsta is more than a food truck. It’s a family business and experience! A way to pass this coastal tradition on to my own kids, and now, to share it with yours.

      We’re bringing the taste of New England to the shores of California — starting with Newport Beach, Laguna, cruising through Huntington, and rolling up to Santa Monica, Malibu, and Santa Barbara. With fresh, buttery, homemade, sourdough lobster rolls, creamy Monsta Mac, Claw Chowda, and homemade Rhubarb pie (a Maine favorite) that’ll make your heart sing — we’re here to bring a little New England taste to the West Coast.
